Recent Activity

Adduce Marketing has recently been working with a number of organisations in a variety of business areas, including:

Testimonials

Anix Group "Anix engaged Adduce (Neil Brooks) as an interim marketing manager to cover the period between the former permanent incumbent leaving and a new permanent head being appointed. Neil  provided a very professional service to Anix that focused on the most important issues for us and helped us not just have continuity in marketing management but also to improve processes and controls over marketing activity and budget. Neil brings many years of experience to bear in a calm and assured manner that gives other managers in the business confidence and Anix recommend Neil to others who need to inject professional and experienced marketing management into their organisations."
Mark Simmonds, Managing Director

AnnWebCom "What you've delivered in assessing our marketing effectiveness and the way in which you've delivered it is outstanding.  We've come across several marketing people over recent years and proceeded with none.  Your approach and, importantly, the way you've communicated your findings have consistently built confidence in you and in the conclusions you've arrived at.  Further, unlike many we've seen, we had the confidence from the outset that you would be able to offer the assistance we'd need when implementing your recommendations."
Cliff Taylor, Managing Director

Hogrefe "We are experts in the world of psychometric testing and wanted the support of someone who is as much an expert as us, but in the world of marketing. Neil Brooks from Adduce Marketing fitted the bill exactly. He has brought a wealth of experience to our business decisions and has accelerated our UK growth plans. We are now much better positioned in our routes to market and have improved our offer to clients. We would certainly recommend Adduce Marketing to other businesses needing more clarity and bite in their marketing."
Wendy Lord, Chief Psychologist and Development Director

HTS Management Holdings "We were impressed with Neil Brooks straight away. He understood our issues very quickly and proposed an approach that made good sense whilst fitting in well with our capabilities and budgets."
Teruko Iwanaga, Deputy Chairman, HTS Management Holdings

Meta-Morph Design – "Adduce Marketing assessed the marketing effectiveness of the business and it really changed my view of the power of marketing. The report Neil produced was insightful, frighteningly honest and, above all, provided me with an excellent and well argued route to move my business forward.  I’m now working on programme delivery with Adduce Marketing and would certainly recommend the experience to anyone."
Jeremy Hunt, Managing Director

rbase (now part of Microgen) – "Adduce Marketing came highly recommended by a company that is a partner of ours and lived up to that recommendation. Neil had the experience of both practical marketing and the IT services business to know what was required, and he also had the confidence to develop collateral without falling into the trap of just rewriting other people's words. We were quickly able to agree a way forward and a fixed budget to complete the work. During the document creation process I was kept fully informed of progress and always felt that things were under control. The quality of the results have exceeded our expectations and are making a great difference to how we approach our market. It was a job well done and, in turn, I heartily recommend Adduce Marketing to any small business needing help to grow their customer base."
Richard Pitkin, Managing Director

Weston Computing "Neil did a marketing plan and materials for us, and we have continued to use him on an ongoing basis. He delivers on time, does what he says, and is thoroughly professional."
David Woodley, Managing Director

Case Studies

HTS Management Holdings HTS Management Holdings (HTS) owns and manages the Lane End Conference Centre near Marlow in Buckinghamshire. The Centre is a purpose built residential conference and training venue with 104 bedrooms set in 26 acres of landscaped grounds.

The ‘meeting venue’ market in the UK is highly competitive and considered to be oversupplied by a mix of hotels, converted country-houses and purpose built facilities. HTS were wrestling with how best to differentiate their facility in order to attract the corporate clients that they targeted, when they decided to seek expert marketing support. Neil Brooks was asked to propose a positioning strategy as well as a marketing programme to turn that into reality.

The resulting marketing strategy started by renaming the venue from HTS Lane End to Lane End Conference Centre along with the delivery of all of the associated re-branding. A major programme of photography was then undertaken during the summer months to ‘show off’ the venue at its best, resulting in the creation of a sumptuous 24 page brochure and a wholly new website featuring an innovative self-navigable ‘virtual tour’ of the Centre’s buildings and grounds.

To complement the new website, an online marketing campaign was set up resulting in an increase in web visitors by orders of magnitude accompanied by a dramatic rise in sales enquiries. In parallel, a telemarketing campaign was run targeting large corporates, local companies and venue-booking agencies. This too generated significant sales enquires and bookings.

Once everything was set up and running smoothly, Neil handed over all of the key materials to HTS and trained selected staff in their usage and upkeep.
